London Borough of Newham

The London Borough of Newham is a local authority in the heart of East London, covering an vibrant, diverse and rapidly developing part of the city. The Community Resilience Team leads on the Prevent agenda in the borough. They aim to raise awareness around extremism and radicalisation and work with statutory partners and third sector in order to do so. Their work includes giving training to front-line workers, supporting leader-ship courses, delivering lesson plans in local schools and developing bespoke Counter-Extremism projects.
